Made by hands, honestly

Every Twinnie keepsake is built by a maker, not printed by a machine. That is the whole point, and it comes with a few honest truths we would rather you read before you order than discover after.

Likeness

A twin, not a clone

Our makers chase your pet's likeness relentlessly, marking by marking, whisker by whisker. But hands are not 3D printers, and a 100 percent exact match is not possible. What you receive is a handmade portrait of your pet with its own tiny signatures of the person who made it. Families tell us that is what they love most.

You will always see a preview photo and approve it before anything ships.

Photos

Your photos lead the way

We work primarily from one main reference photo for each angle of your pet. Once our makers begin, those references are locked in and cannot be swapped at a later stage, so choose the photos that feel most like them. If you are unsure, send extras with a note and we will help you pick before we start.

Materials

Fibre and wool have their own nature

The Twinnie is built from fine soft fibre that moves like hair, and The Frame and The Forever Home are needle felted from wool. Both are beautiful, and neither is real fur. Wool sits matte, so we cannot replicate a glossy coat, and the exact look and feel of your pet's fur may differ within these material limits.

We match fur and eye colour to your photos as closely as the materials allow, but screens display colour differently from device to device, so an exact colour replication is not something we can promise.

Scale

Smaller pieces, softer detail

Detail needs room. Smaller works, such as the Petite Twinnie or a two pet Frame where each face shares the box, will carry fewer fine details than larger pieces, simply because there is less surface for the needle to draw on.

Our promise

We keep working until it feels like them

We are glad to make adjustments based on your feedback at the preview stage, working within the limits of the materials and our techniques. If something about the likeness is not sitting right with you, tell us, that is exactly what the preview is for.
